I don't think it's pink... the picture gives the range or whatever that is next to the dishwasher a pinkish tinge also.  Looks like an early 50s model.

My Aunt and Uncle

Bought a new ranch house in 56 that had a Hotpoint dishwasher sink, they used it until they remodeled in 62 and installed all coppertone Frigidaire stuff, My Aunt said it worked well.

This was the highest rate dishwasher in cleaning ability in the early 1950's. It also sounds really nice, quiet but heavy spray.
