MIELE 5740 AND NEW BORN'S CLOTHES

Hi to all members,

(Not sure where to post this thread) Our first born is on her way and with this being our first child everybody says that we should buy a special detergent for babies. But most of the people that has advised us on it, is using a top loaders with the bottom fan, not the regular agitator, not certain as what to call it. I must say that we have not ever had any residue left on the clothes, I think the machine detects if there is any residue and adds a further rinse if needed. so question is if one should change to a new detergent?

Any input and advise would be appreciated.

Congratulations!

I think if you rinse well, a regular detergent should work fine. Do you have a "Sensitive" setting that gives extra rinsing? Use it. If allergic reactions arise, then reconsider, but thorough rinsing is generally enough for the delicate skin of a baby.
