Hi Guys,
April 2020 (25th to be precise) my washer will turn 20. This machine will get for his / her birthday a new laundryroom as we are by then (fingres crossed) at the final stage of our renovation project. This project includes a solar hot water heater.
As hot water will be readely available in the futur, I would like to upgrade my washer with a hot watervalve. The hardware is kinda available as Miele provided a punch-out hole to put a single valve and an extra "inlet spray" on the soap drawer.
Software... i'm a bit in doubt, but anything is a possibility... from tweaking the controlboard of the washer itself, to building in an arduino-type stuff.
So I turn myself to the power of this community...
Anyone who can give me some info like a plan of parts, a wiring diagram, a better idea,... please post
This Miele Gold is actually a W963 in disguise and so part of the W800-w900 serie. People who own a US equivalent of this series, like W1918-W1926-W1930-W1966-1986, or who can provide "under the hood" pictures... I'm curious to see the waterinlet set-up.
Few notes:
I would like to opt for a system that works with the washer, meaning that I don't have to run back to change the machines inlet hoses ex. to switch for rinsing.
Last "boilwash" I did, the washer didn't wanted to spin at the end of the mainwash and after a very long "pumping the main wash water sequence", the machine showed a "drain" light. Pump clean, no obstructed pressure switch pipe, no drainpipe problem and no more problem the moment the machine cooled down a bit... any thought on this are also welcome.
Let's go...
