Have any Miele owners seen a difference in performance with Miele Rinse Aid versus other products like Finish or Cascade rinse aid?

Unlike detergents I can’t see rinse aid brand making a big performance difference.

I see no difference either

But I do love the bottle cap design. You can open it, flip it over and nothing drips or leaks out unless you squeeze the bottle. I saved my bottle from the last time I purchased it and decanted my Jet Dry into that. It makes filling the rinse aid dispenser so much easier and cleaner.

We use Miele Tablets, but Finish rinse aid, I've never felt the need to order the Miele stuff. As long as you have any wetting agent, it should work fine.

If you buy Miele powder, watch the cap on the bottle, the three bottles I've had, all break the cap off in the first couple of uses, then the nifty dosing cap is useless.

I bought a bottle of Lemishine rinse aid some while ago with a squeeze-squirt cap. I kept the bottle & cap for use of other rinse aid brands.  DishDrawer's rinse aid dispenser oriented vertically in the drawer front wall with the fill cap/port protruding at an angle isn't a convenient design to avoid spillage unless a funnel is used.  The squirt bottle solves that problem very nicely.

Thank you

I have splashed out and bought a bottle today as well as the powder.

I look forward to not spilling a drop and will decant cheaper rinse aid into the bottle when finished.

I wish other brands made clear rinse aid.

Here in NZ, it seems to be dark blue or dark green.

The dishwasher powder has a great dosing part too. I will refill that with the cheaper stuff too when it's finished.

Rich, just watch the cap on the detergent bottle. We’ve had three bottles and it’s ended up breaking off all three off them, well before we’ve finished the powder. My current bottle has cling film over the top with a rubber band to keep the moisture out.
