Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Minimum Iron / Skippin' cycle steps

Hi guys,
my novotronic W844 five minutes before the M.I. cooldown switches from normal (or suds-reducing) cadence to wool cadence. Do you know what is that for ?

Jon, i'm curious about the W3922 .... I wonder if it's possible to "play" nearly like it had a mechanic timer, to skip cycle steps. Suppose you switch it to END while it's on cotton main wash. Does the rinse led flash then the spin one ?

I wish even domestic mieles were so flexible like the Little Giants. Check in the link to their manual how many changes one can operate by the setting/supervisor menu :-o

TIA
Carlo

Hi Carlo - ours just tumbles as normal on MI even thoughout the cooldown. However our short button is pretty much always permanently pressed in - oddly enough not in the picture I've taken lol - so I don't know if that affects things.

You can't skip cycle stages on our model - if you turn the dial to Stop it just cancels the cycle. However I've never really had any use for this, the cycles are fast enough when short is pressed :-)

thanks Louis, wasn't sure about it, as it does such way even with no suds at all anyway.

Updating the W715 ... uhmm, it is the very first novotronic model.... definitely a milestone. I wish it were possible to keep a back up copy of the original programmes, so that one can choose anyway and have the "historical" record too

I'd hit my toes with a hammer after discovering the update aborted the good old cotton cooldown. I miss it on the W844, can have it @ 75 and 95°C only *LOL*
