I believe that I can get hold of one of these rather cheaply but it has a couple of issues:

- door opener button doesn't work;
- temperature appears to fluctuate from what is chosen.

Before I jump on in and regret it, assuming it is just the door opener solenoid or an issue with the 'button', how hard is that to change? And, what is the likely cause of the temperature issue?

I guess the second problem would be a bad thermostat.

Depends Upon Which Door Lock Design Miele Used

Might just require a new set of buttons or perhpas changing the door lock.
