Good lord. Was it owned by Elvis or something? That's just stupid. This lady up the street is selling a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo for $11,000. I've looked at it. Yeah it's in nice condition, but NO WHERE NEAR $11,000 worth. $1,100 would make better sence. And a million for that fridge. Even $1,000 is way too high. Good luck to them both for trying to find a sucker to buy them.

I'm wondering what the seller has in mind? I mean, don't you have to pay to list things on eBay? Something around 100$ would be a fair price for it but who will want to make a serious offer to someone who starts an auction with a price like that! I paid 125$ for my similar 1963 Frigidaire refrigerator but mine is a bigger model and it has the relatively rare brushed chrome doors.

Maybe the seller is trying to prove a point to somebody.   Per the Q&A, he/she is serious about the price.

 

Since no one has chimed in here with "Oh, it's that same fridge popping up on ebay yet again" I presume this is the first sighting. 

 

This person puts the seller of that perennial pink Maytag set to shame!
