The cabinets came from IKEA. Frankly, I didn't even know they sold cabinets until Tom Deeptub told me about them and that they're actually quite nice. He was totally right--no "IKEA Wobble" here!
And they were really easy to put up. Once you have the support rail firmly mounted, the cabinets themselves go up quickly. Boom boom boom. Done.
Total cost for 5 feet of cabinets was about $142.00, but that includes $18.00 worth of handles I got for 75 cents on clearance!

Ah, the new cabinets! Looking good, hope it wasn't too much trouble to get them in! Nothin' like some good looking stuff from Ikea ~

I've missed shopping at IKEA
since my move from Chicago to Arkansas. Yes, I've missed LOTS of other things too!! I loved walking around IKEA looking at the knockoffs of things you'd find at Crate and Barrell and Pottery Barn, etc for a whole lot more money.
I was at the grand opening of the store in Chicago and missed the free chair by 2 people. Myself and the nellie outfit I went with who made us late!!! They handed them out to the first 150 people in line.

Veg, you are in the yellow. It's just the divisions between posts that are blue. Very nice cabinets and door handles. Now get some slimline under cabinet fluorescent lights so that you can see what you are doing. I love under cabinet lighting.
When we bought the EFLA (?) shelving for mom's apt., we learned that many Europeans take their kitchen cabints with them when they move. The standards for mom's pantry shelves hang from one sorta V-shaped channel for easy portability.
