Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

That washer, and it's matching dryer, were the set that my family had as a kid. They lasted for at least ten years.
Then when one of the set went out in the late 90's, the parents went to Best Buy and bought a Maytag set, which didn't last too long. I'd have to see a picture to recognize which ones they were exactly (I'm a transplant from Vacuumland). Then, those were replaced with our current Kenmore Elite set, which I've been very displeased with.
 
Nice 3-speed combo. This series was pretty much the end of toggleswitches on GE washer control panels. They'd moved water temp control to the center of the panel and as a knob now. Pushbuttons were now used for speed selection, or as got higher-end, programmed cycles.
