Matched set with both panels lighted. I am just thrilled to have found this dryer, it was a dream come true. I will be doing a major make-over of my house laundry area to accomodate this set, but its such a wonderful set that any effort will be worth it.........Thanks for looking!

Norge gas dryers periodically show up as pictures of the day and I've always wondered what that trap door on the top of the dryer was for. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I didn't realize that the Norge had a delay start option back in the day!!

If this is a DG-500, it retailed for $359.95. The washer AWD-502 sold for $399.95. Not a big difference in prices between the washer and dryer, much like today.

They make a gorgeous pair, Jimmy---congratulations! And thanks for all the photos. I love the drop-down dryer door to make unloading easier. They are a bells-and-whistles set, that's for sure.

Jimmy, I could see dots on the dial-a-fabric indicating high or low heat, but never saw a fabric type that indicated a medium heat, or did I miss something? Looks like the link filter door at the bottom of the cabinet is missing? The drum light on our '64 Norge Wrinkle-Out dryer was in thes ame location.
