Well, we have had a range thread, and a refrigerator thread, so here is a mixer thread, these are just some of the mixers in the house, there is more in the building, first is the Sunbeam line, these are on top of my cook book shelves in the hall.
Posted pics of the GEs or the Kitchen Aids, I need to get some that are in the building cleaned up....but I have about ran out of room, This is a SMALL! house!...Well, You know what they say, You can be sure if its WESTINGHOUSE!
I have picked mine collection so often I won't do it again but I love see the choices of my friends, which they choose to use most often and why. Thank you Hans for being willing to share the formidable depth of your collections.
I consistently go back to a Kenmore, of course ,when I slice dice etc, I use a Kitchen Aid with attachments, but other than breadmaking, or cookies,I dont use a Kitchen Aid...
Hans - that collection of mixers is just incredible! It's like a "mixer museum!" I especially love all the hand-helds and rainbow of Mixmasters. Just wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
I have a Hamilton Beach Mixette w/ green lettering on the box that I found NIB when we were cleaning out Grandma Baumann's house. It is a great little mixer, and for its size is quite powerful, IMO.
Great collection, I think you've got a few more than I have and I thought I had a lot of them LOL.. but I got a lotta blenders as well.
What's interesting though is the sheer amount of Sunbeam, HB, and Westy bowls I see at all the thrift stores without the machines. I figure people must have gotten rid of the machines eons ago and just kept the bowls for other uses.
