Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

My grandmother had that same Westinghouse and gave it to my mom after her Mixmaster burnt out.

I've read here that those Westinghouse models were seriously capable machines.

I have picked mine collection so often I won't do it again but I love see the choices of my friends, which they choose to use most often and why.  Thank you Hans for being willing to share the formidable depth of your collections.

Its funny!!!

I consistently go back to a Kenmore, of course ,when I slice dice etc, I use a Kitchen Aid with attachments, but other than breadmaking, or cookies,I dont use a Kitchen Aid...

I have a Hamilton Beach Mixette w/ green lettering on the box that I found NIB when we were cleaning out Grandma Baumann's house.  It is a great little mixer, and for its size is quite powerful, IMO.

Great collection, I think you've got a few more than I have and I thought I had a lot of them LOL.. but I got a lotta blenders as well.

What's interesting though is the sheer amount of Sunbeam, HB, and Westy bowls I see at all the thrift stores without the machines. I figure people must have gotten rid of the machines eons ago and just kept the bowls for other uses.

My Mom still has the bowls that came with the HB she got as a wedding present in 1967.  She uses them all the time for everything.
