Very nice to see Ralph take center stage although Kevin is no Cecil B. DeMille with the camera. That spinach pie looks easy to prepare and I'm sure it's delish. I wonder if there's a way to sneak some meat into it? Just when I thought that bizarre Zither LP you played during a past video was, for lack of a better word, "unusual," you come up this lady named Blossom Dearie. She might sound better played at 45 or 78.

I love spanakopita, but have always made it with phyllo, which is fussier to deal with. I'll definitely give this version a try. Nice job in front of the camera, Ralph. Another Cavalcade winner!

JOE - LOL!! I'm sure I won't win an Oscar for my camera work anytime soon, but what can you do? Ralph is too cute not to get occasional on-screen time!

We discovered Blossom Dearie some years ago when we ran into a couple of her albums at an estate sale - although never a huge star, she had a remarkable career and worked with some of the greats. Her voice is kind of "baby-dollish" and not for everyone, but she plays a great piano!

I'm wondering how this would work with a pre-made frozen pie crust instead of pita in a round pie dish, may try that variation.
