Modern Kenmore Portable Question

I saw what appears to be a modern Kenmore portable washing machine. It's not brand new, or anything close to it, but I think it's made well within the era of the regular machines being direct drive. I have a couple of questions:

-Do these have the same "Shredmore" problem of the regular washers?
-Do these deliver acceptable clothes washing performance?

I may have to (at least) temporarily replace my regular machine and--so far--this is the only "fun" option that has crossed my path.

I personally really like thesse machine and they do a good job of washing. I'm assuming this has a DA agitator?

I only wish I knew. I haven't actually seen the machine myself, and others who take photos of washers never bother with the important parts!
