I saw one of these at the local SA this week. It looked almost new, hardly used, or at the very least well taken care of. The panels were smooth shiny white inserts (I think)and they had the look and feel of a milky glass-like material. A very handsome and impressive unit. The crescent-producing ice maker was at the very rear of the freezer cabinet, not on the side like most you see. The front doors were actually higher at the top than the cabinet itself by a couple of inches. Even though the sides were all finished off nicely, that door treatment would suggest that this was supposed to achieve the look of a built-in fridge. I'm guessing it's a 25+ cu ft model.
Unfortunately, both the freezer and fresh food section controls were turned up to the highest setting (7 in this case) and the interior was barely cooler than the ambient temp and had condensation on the covered "utility" section in the top of the fresh food section door.
It's a beautiful and unusual machine but at the very least needs a re-charge. Does anyone know who the real manufacturer is behind this brand? It seemed very Whirlpool to me until I saw the location of the ice maker.
