rick, hmm, you're causin a somewhat purist here to have some blood pressure problems lol. You used the obvious two different size filter pans from the burp-a-lator era of the 18-20 lb. Norges--a larger one and a smaller one (when you put the fabric softener dispenseer on top of it). What was it that was in the back filer slot at the beginnign of the wash--I doubt it was any kind of legitimate Norge filter, or was it? I about had a heart attack when ya pulled the filter pan out of the back slot during the ifnal spin. Correct me if I"m wrong, but I don't think the larger agitator mounted filter pan could co-exist with the original back-slot filter pan because the agitator one was too wide? an interesting comment, kinda "Kenmore-ish", but I've never seen the "newer" style drain and spin coupled with the recirculating filter system--only this style drain & spin with the burp-o-lator filter system. Anuyway, I found it intersting the filetr stream water kept pumping through while it was draining and starting to spin--that's what I meant by kind "Kenmore"ish. Now a challenge, I would love to see this washer with a black bakelite agitator that was found on the Norge14/15/Monkey Warks 14/15 pound washer--like on Jon Charles' 1964 or 1965 Norge. THAT was the agitator I asssociate with the filteer-stream deisgn, not the white plastic agitator as found originally on your washer.
