i'm sure there are some here in this group that are into montgomery ward washers. here is one that seems like a pretty good deal. it was posted 14 days ago but the ad was "updated" 4 hours ago (so i'm guessing it's still available?)

craigslist ad says:

I'm only seeing two cycles on the control dial. (Normal / Delicate) But it is an 18# machine 3 water levels, 5 temp choices. I wonder if it had a burpalator or built in lint filter basket. No money shots in the ad.

Dadoes-
I know that a lot of mfg's use that tactic when they list the features that their machines provide. I was just making an observation of what I saw from the pic's that were provided.

Oh, I do love the juggling act required in that visual!  Just don't spill and short out the little lovely light before we even get it working!

 

Personally, I think you should hold out for a TOL model.  More buttons betters the odds of a more spectacular failure.
