After being housebound all day I decided to take an evening jaunt to the thrifts before closing time. Nothing of interest out on the floor but as I walked by the swinging doors to the back whse area I saw this Kirby sitting there alongside the wall so I rushed right in where two guys were checking out a home water cooler and asked them how much for it. They plugged it in and it started right up and I quickly turned it over and the belt was off which I noted the brushrool wasn't turning,LOl.. $24.99 and I was walking out the door smiling.
Why someone turned this in is beyond me, it's in absolute mint condition, clean as a whistle other than where they stuck a price tag on the handle for me and wrote their secret code on the other part of the handle that washes right off.
Put a bag in it when I got home and it works very well although the power self propelling isn't quite as smooth as my Lady K or Hoover. Will I keep it? I dunno, I'm not that enamored with it so I could probably resell the thing for a few hundred bucks easily. But I'll have some fun playing with it for awhile before that happens.

Really nice Kirby--Looks like its had good care by its former owner or little use.Did it come with attachments?$24.99 for it is a bargain indeed.Around this area--"lonely" Kirbys-those without attachments-are bought up by local cleaning ladies here. The bag on it looks very clean for a G3.Usually the ones I run into the outer bag is very dirty-or even scuffed and torn.
