Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I kind of figured that Speed Queen was late 60's. They were fairly basic machines. I recall the laundromat owner always had issues with them spinning and agitating at the same time, which I thought was kind of odd.

I distinctly remember the sound they made when they started the fill and the "Sneezing" noises the timer made as they advanced through the cycle.

I would love to see one in action again, but I have no room to have one of those around.

Hi Eugene!

I don't know if I, as a "basic" member of AW, can upload any photos. What I will do is ask my brother to scan the page of the Frigidaire Top Load Drycleaner, and the Violet Ray water-recycling laundromat, and post those in place of my Samsung. I could also just email you the photos! I sure will try for you guys!

To Frigilux...

Eugene, did you get the email I sent with the pages I had scanned? I cannot upload these here myself-only a paid member may do so. Unless there IS a way for me to upload these, I am sorry. The pages were of the top-load Frigidaire Drycleaner and the Violet Ray washers system.
