I personally don't care for the ones with the cord reel.
I like cordless the best, but there's not much available on the market.
I have the Oreck, which is so-so.
The Maytag cordless is interesting, but if it's made the same way their other stuff currently is....
There's a fair-to-decent Panasonic cordless out, which regrettably is hard to get in stock.

Hi there. I love to iron. Normally, I do all the laundry at my parish (Episcopal)...communion linens and vestments. I am currently taking a break as I have switched to a new parish.
I look forward to returning to the ironing board soon.

gonna try another iron now I got the washers working somewhat
I am on my second Rowenta iron
The first one lasted almost 15 years or so. I can't remember when I bought it. It just quit working so I got a new one as I figured I got a good run out of that one. After using the Rowenta I don't think I could use anything else. I got the professional series this time. It is 1700 watts and the thing is amazing. The steam is endless and is a real treat to use.

I just used our sunbeam..Its quite nice and produces tons of steam, but i can't use ot to steam wrinkles from cloths, wich it is supposed to do

Finally got a stainless-steel soled Black and Decker. $25 close-out at a junk store. It keeps my aluminum-soled B&D "classic" company. Still don't see why irons need a chip. oh well, "progress"
My new BF likes to iron YAY! I wash, he hangs to dry and he irons. I'm a happy camper! To each according to his ability.
Here's to many many happy loads together!
