I am cleaning house right now, so here are a few more machines I am ready to part with so that someone else can enjoy them.

Again, all machines should be considered NON-WORKING. They may or may not run. All of the machines have decent exteriors for their ages. All machines sold as-is. They all will make nice restoration projects.

As I said before, make me an offer.

Pair #1: This is a nice Maytag set, and as one collector once told me, he hadn't seen a complete set of these together. I should have a lid for the washer somewhere around here. I'd really like to get $350 out of this set.

Due to an unfortunate turn of events, the fellow that wanted the lighted control set cannot purchase them. All of the sets are available BEST OFFER. I really do need to make some room. Again, I am not easily offended. If my prices are out of line, let me know.

Are any of the dryers gas? I have a machine very similar to the coppertone washer, but in lousy shape, and a suds saver. Maybe interested in parting mine out, and having a set.

Does the washer have a model number? Do you have any later dryers? I am looking for a gas 6xx/8xx/9xx set.

Eric, I'll look for model numbers tonight. As far as gas or elec, everything I have is electric. In my area gas is not that popular for dryers.

I'd stay away from gas HOH's unless you like to wait 2 hours for your clothes to dry. Gas SOH's are really efficient though.

GAS HOH DRYERS

While its true that gas HOH dryers are a little slower than the electric versions its less than five minutes for a normal load. The gas HOH dryer is one of the only examples I can remember where the gas model is a little slower usually its the other way around. However if you have 208 volt service the gas model would become much faster unless you modify the heating element for 208 volt operation. Dan what is a SOH dryer ?.

I got a hold of a DG306 last year for free along with the matching 206 (they were destined for the crusher) and even with a full tear down and rebuild that included ALL 3 new thermostats, it still took 2:15 to dry the same loads it took the DE750/806's 35-55 minutes. Not sure where you get a 5 minute difference between DG/DE's from. Tumturbomatic even confirmed this is pretty much normal operation for gas HOH's......which is why I don't recommend them.

Dan what is a SOH dryer?

Stream Of Heat = Big Load dryer.

How Bizzaare!

I know my current LDG309 is slower than my previous GE machine, but never thought it was prohibitively long. I guess I am out of luck - with the cost of electricity around here, I'm staying gas. I have a 600 series HoH in electric I am looking to get rid of, in fact.
