Spiders I don't mind so much. I don't like those bigger millipede thingys (like big silverfish) with the big antenni on the front and back. I get one in the basement every now racing across the floor or my workbench and they always makes me jump (for the can of Raid)
 
And another thing...

All the snow storms that seem to keep hounding the east coast this winter... hummmm... maybe that doesn't creep me out as much as depresses me....lol.....bring on spring so we can get otu to find some new treasures!!

Actually I used to get creeped-out with two women kissing on the silver screen when I first saw it. Now coming from ME that makes no sense! LOL <br
Pride month is in June to celebrate the yearly anniversay of the Stonewall rebellion that began in NYC in 1969. A bunch of gays got fed up with the police harrassment in a gay bar and beat the police to a pulp that nite during a raid, instead of playing victim. Amazingly the police stopped the harassment <br
Did you know that in psychological profiles and tests cops and "robbers" are exaclty the same? They are only on different sides of the law. <br

Had two of our members exercised the common sense not to take pot shots at same-sex kissing and Sarah Palin, this thread would not have devolved into the totally predictable tit-for-tat that does absolutely nothing to change anyone's mind. <br
Case in point: Nothing any of you say will alter my opinion of Sarah Palin. Only something Sarah Palin says or does will do that. <br

I can't stand it when cooking show hosts wear rings/bracelets while cooking. I cringe when I see someone with a couple of big rocks on their fingers dig into a bowl of raw ground meat, bread crumbs and eggs to combine the ingredients. Then they dash to the sink, rinse their hands quickly and return to prepare a green salad. Cooking 101: No jewelry on wrists or hands!

Going into a customer's house without them being there sometimes creeps me out. Not sure why but I'm always half expecting to find myself on some sort of hidden camera tracking me while they're not there.. <br

Mainly because when I worked for ANZ bank, I had to relieve in Cooma, a town near the snow fields... <br
I walked upstairs doing the morning security check on the first day and thought I saw a very naked man... <br
...Well, I screamed and moved the fastest I had ever done down stairs....out the back door of the bank and over to the two ladies waiting for me to unlock.... <br
They were laughing so hard they nearly wet themselves....knowing full well that I had met 'Roger'...who they had moved to the kitchen door so he was silouetted by the morning light.... <br

supreme whirlpool, even though i am gay and have kissed many a man i was not offended in the least by what you said! i got a kick out of it! hey it's your right! next time you come down to pick up that kitchenaid/whirlpool you want i will make sure i'm not kissing anyone when you get here <br
been watching for a motor/pump for that machine for you, still have seen none on e bay that are reasonably priced.
maybe i will drive up with it later this spring to get it to you, need the space here ha ha! <br
as for what creeps me out, <br
dark fast moving water like creeks and rivers at nite! love the ocean and the great lakes but rivers scare me! especially if i am in them! ohio river does nothing for me, give me lake erie any day!
 
The things that creep me out are: <br
Rooms done in Victorian heritage design. They remind me of funeral parlors or dead people. Therefore funeral parlors themselves are on my list. <br
Snakes! <br
Public Restrooms. You never know what nasties are in there. <br
Dead animals, mainly squished ones on the side of the road. <br

Now I have known several people who are afraid of fish. We went to a steakhouse one time with a group of people and one woman ordered the fresh trout. The guy who was afraid of fish had to leave the table and go eat in the bar, but not before berating the woman for totally destroying his evening. Strangely enough, the same guy was afraid of birds. When we were leaving he told us not to walk too close to the trees (it was night) as we might disturb the birds and they'll fly and make him vomit!
 
WHIRLCOOL!!

EASY NOW! I live in a victorian house - completed in 1898 Though I will say that a majority of the furniture is a mixture of Arts & Crafts and Mission with a little East Lake thrown in for good measure. The house itself is very pretty and ornate so we did make the decision to decorate it in a more simplifided manner. <br
As for funeral homes - It's mostly the formaldehyde the creeps me out & actually makes me extremely nauseated.

atually if that is raw meat so close to the tomatoes and the breadsticks, I'd get the Kaopectate or Immodium ready! <br

Been to a few of those as part of my job. My guide through the building usually laughs as I speak to the stiffs. "Excuse me fellas and ladies, just taking a few pictures." One time someone pulled the sheet up over a deceased young lady. I didn't see a thing, but WHY her boobies may have been exposed was beyond me. <br
I may not have pictures of cadavers in my photos that the secretary inserts in my reports. She freaked out and hit the ceiling
