1st gen Camaros are sweet...

we had a '67 6cyl and '69 307V8, both standard coupes, back in the day.

Now we have the retro '07 Mustang and love it, the German designed ohc 6 cyl emgine makes more power than the original 289 V8 in the 1st Gen cars and gets good mileage... the new '15 Mustang is tempting, we've considered ordering one because we love the new orange color, but we like the more retro look of ours and it's still in mint condtion with low miles, it being used just as a toy. Can still remember the original Mustang intro in April '64, a neighbeor owned the local Goodyear store and brought a red coupe home the first day. The base price was only $2368!!

firedome . . .

I normally am not inclined toward red cars but with the black top and those wheels that's a great looking Mustang, just enough retro. In particular I much prefer those taillights over the next generation trapezoidal version. The V6 probably weighs less than the V8 too which should pay some dividends in cornering. Keep it!

She Who Must Be Obeyed...

mandated Colorado Red... quote: "no washed out boring colors". Personally, was hoping for the Valencia Orange, but this one won out. As they say, it's never too late to have a happy childhood!

I saw the most gorgeous mint condition metallic turquoise Camaro, with matching interior, and a 6 cylinder engine, about 15 years ago. Naturally, it was suggested you slap a big ol' V8 in it as fast as you can. I think it does still exist here, with a V8 slapped into it. Sorry, I don't believe every single surviving 6 cylinder should be wiped off the face of the earth.

Great looking cars posted here, I love all the different pony car models since the original Mustang.
