Hey guys
I'm moving from Dallas to Los Angeles this weekend but i have tons of questions.

1) What is the best way to take my washers with me? I have the Magic Chef 1.6 cu. ft. it's cheap but it has a sentimental value as it was my very first washer here in the US, for this reason i'd like to take it with me.

1.2) Ok, i have some mini washers by the laundry alternative. If i could I'd like to take a Mega Spin dryer and two super compact automatic washers with me.

3) What is the best driving route? I'm going to travel with my car. (Honda Fit). I want to be as fuel efficient as possible but also, enjoy the trip. What are the "must see" places?

4) Are there any members on the way so I can plan some stops to stretch and have some coffee and meet?

If you have a smart phone, download "Google Maps" or "Waze" if you haven't already and use one of those to route you.

Otherwise, take I-20 West to I-10 through El Paso, Las Cruces, Tucson & Phoenix.   Once you get to Phoenix, you are about 6 hours away, depending of course, on traffic.

As for things to see or do.... it all depends on what you like or want to see.  There are numerous gardens, museums, historical buildings, etc etc along the way.

As for packing / hauling your machines, lay them on their sides and try to pack blankets or other clothing in or around the tubs so they are as close to centered as possible AND they move around as little as possible as you drive.

I know there are some AW members in Tucson and the Phoenix area.

I hope this helps!

Save travels!

Kevin
