I moved into a shared house a few weeks ago, in the kitchen we have a WM62 Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 washing machine and a very old Early 90s (1990/1991) Zanussi DW910 TCR Dishwasher.
The Dishwasher is brilliant, dispite the landlord plumbing it into the hot water supply, this helps with the drying phase and makes the glasses come out extra sparkly, its so heavy, robust and well built, no wonder its still going after 22 years.
The washing machine is awful, and its now broken. I noticed when I first did a wash that everything was coming out hot instead of cold, I'm guessing the landlord plumbed the machine to the wrong taps, and the drum has caught on an interior component of the machine and has ripped a big hole in the drum, rendering the machine useless.
Hopefully we shall get a second hand Zanussi washer as a replacement, id like one that matches the dishwasher =]
