hello everyone!! hope everyone is doing good 🫶🏻

once again, i feel like there is no better place to ask this other than here.

so, my Bosch Serie 8 dishwasher has 3 different intensive programs and it's all such a mess.

one is the pre-loaded "Heavy" that comes installed by default, and other two are downloaded programs ("Deep Intensive" and "Intensive Plus 70°C"). They all show the degree as 70.

the thing is, all of their descriptions make it sound like they're better than each other, which makes me have so many questions, leading to confusion.

i'll attach the screenshots so you can see & understand yourself better, and give me your opinions.

my questions are:

1-) Which one is the MOST powerful overall?
2-) What are the differences between 3 programs?
3-) Which one uses the higher spray pressure?
4-) Which is better for cleaning & which one is better for hygiene?

if it matters, my model is Serie 8 SMS8YDI82T with PowerControl.

i'll be waiting for all the detailed answers, thank you so much!! 🩵

Sorry, currently somewhat distracted privately.

Unfortunately, I currently don't have access to my mums DW and the corresponding HomeConnect App.

I know that here in the EU, there's "Intensive" which is the preset program you access through the button on the UI.
That's probably your Heavy cycle.
Pre-Rinse, Main Wash at 70C, one interim rinse that's fixed, one that can be cut by the sensor, final rinse, dry.

Further, there's Intensive Plus in the App here as well.
From the bit I played around with the App and the timings I have in my head, it appeared to me it was just the Intensive cycle with the Lower Rack Intensive option set.

I honestly don't know what Deep Intensive is, I don't know what the equivalent would be over here.

However, the usage data points towards something else and is honestly a bit confusing.

The slightly higher usage of Intensive Plus vs Heavy points to it being the same cycle, just with Lower Rack Intensive (or IntenseZone or what ever it's called) being activated.
The 10min time difference is what you'd expect with that option aswell.
But, the usage and time is in reverse. Both should increase, not one increase one decrease.
That could be up to machine set-up or other options and how the downloaded cycles work with that.

The Deep Intensive cycle sounds a lot like the base intensive cycle with something like the Hygiene and the IntenseZone option set.
That cycle appears to do one more interim rinse - half a gallon, a bit more that 2l is what you'd expect.

I don't really know though, since the usage of the typical Intensive cycle is only supposed to be 1.25kWh max.
So I'm almost certain something like the Sensor Setting or ExtraDry or something is set in the machines setting.
