My Aunt found this at a Estate sell in Marysville Sat and I sent her the cash for it.I thought it was from the 60s but now I am not so sure, I think its from the mid 50s or so but I don't know.
It is made by National Rubber machinery. It's a Batch feed that uses the heaviest stopper I have ever came across.
That stopper/switch weighs around 6 pounds its heavy. The instructions are not in the Box,and that irritates me .
There is a reversing switch toggle on the side and another difference is the grinder is not like a Kitchenaid or other Nationals I have had.
There is a under-cutter wheel attached under the flywheel..
I think it's a 1/2 Hp cause it draws 7.2 Amps its a very large and very quite machine for its advanced age, I tried it with a Carrot and it grinds very fine. I did not realize how tall this machine is when I bought.
