The secretary that was from my grade 7 and 8 school has gone into the nursing home.
Her grandson is cleaning out her house. Turns out, he is a cousin of my brother in law.We were haggling and he was making the deals sweeter all the time.
I thought the dryer was a Frigidaire from first glance? A bit rough on the inside.
Of course there was a wringer washer. The house is frozen in time from ? Some really old stuff.
The house has been sitting for some time. Needs all new plumbing, wiring, windows and roof.

I am going back on Friday to pick up my stash of old detergents and other stuff. Got a vacuum and floor polisher too.

Viscount

Brian, I've never, ever heard of the Viscount brand before!   I don't know why but the pushbuttons and console of the dryer are screaming 'EASY' at me...

I'm intrigued...  I'll also go out on a limb that Viscount was the 'store brand' of the Co-op out west, too.   That being said, perhaps the refrigerator was a rebadged Frigidaire, but that's pure guesswork.

Early to mid 60s Franklin Built Dryer

As Tom mentioned these were sort a [ BAD ] copy of a mid to late 50s WP dryer, they were only so-so dryer at best. My Father worked for Universal Cooperatives here in the US and a number of family friends etc had CO-OP appliances, Franklin also made Western-Auto appliances.

Those impressive looking six different fabric selections were just like a Norge dryer of the same time period, you only actually had a hi and low and air-fluff selections the other three were redundant, it was designed to make the stupid house wife feel important making decisions without confusing her little brain instead of just giving a Hi or Low and Air-Fluff setting  [ it was designed by a man for sure ], LOL.
