I posted a picture on the "best daily driver thread." I appreciate all the feedback, however I stumbled onto this dryer, so for now ill run with this. I still would rather have either an old westy, or a mid fifties frigidaire, Trades? For now I need help to find a mate for this dryer, any suggestions? What model washer would be the best looking match? Let me know what you think! BTW this machine is almost flawless, no rust or dents, awesome finish!

Aferim!

I believe our webmaster once posted a picture from an ad for an early Frigidaire washer (from the '40's, shaped like your dryer without a backsplash) with a matching dryer that he said was made not by GM but by Hamilton. So you might try doing a "reverse match".

Very beautiful dryer; we bought a farmhouse in 1970 that had one of these and a 1958 Frigidaire Unimatic in the mud room. After three years I was able to petition my parents to scrap the two antiques for a 1973 Filter-Flo pair. My vintage appliance karma was ruined, I believe by that IGNORANT, move. I still kick myself when I think about those two beautiful machines, but, what did I know at that time?

Could you post a close-up of the two control dials on that pretty Hamilton?

Here's my favorite Hamilton:
