mother board

There is a mother board that regulates the tumble and spin speeds. It is located in the right rear area of the inner cabinet. When it takes a dump,no tumble,no spin.I am not sure of the exact price for the actual part but I am sure "It ain't gonna be cheap."If I still had mine,I'd send it but someone else needed it a few years ago.I had stripped mine after it took a crap and the barings went to hell.

Really?? It's not a 3 phase motor that is run on the modified sine wave by an inverter embedded in the control board? Did you check the pressure switch? Did you check all of your connections? Did you check the door switch? I worked on that same model about a month ago. I personally hate that machine!!! Who in their right mind would put a magnetic reed switch that cripples machine functionality on the dispenser door!! Someone please explain that to me; besides the fact that it could cause someone to throw away a perfectly running machine.

Yes... the "motherboard"

Friends of mine moved into a new apartment just over a month ago and it the has the same (small, round door) Kenmore badged, Frigidaire FL set. The washer would fill and tumble for the wash, but would not spin.

They called an appliance repair guy come diagnose the problem and it was that logic board. My friend bought and replaced the part himself, but he said it was still $150!
