thats your lot, for the next page in the service manual is for the next series of machines, that ushered in the letter 'T'.

Thanks Paul - Very helpful for when I get round to restoring my 3314L which hopefully will be soon. Might do my T5024 first though as ebayed my working T5090 so need to get another HMDL up and running to play with.
I love the letter to all the Hoover dealers. You wouldn't get that now

can you imagine trying to stuff that in the spinner when soaking wet, would weigh a ton!! Thanks to Paul for posting, my manuals are in a garage in stafford have found out!!
Wight Rabbit , how are you getting on with the restoration?? I think you have on of the earlier models with the larger diameter empty hose, in the later production runs it changed to the slightly slimmer size that are on all the later models!!

The use of fabric conditioner
How they have changed their minds if you read the above thread re fabric softener they recommend you rinse nappies in it to make them softer, now correct me if I am wrong but surely the whole point of a nappy is to absorb as much as possible and we all know that fabric softener makes them less so !!
