my hotpoint is sounding rough!

hi to everyone, as you all know i have a hotpoint 9534 (picture below)and it it sounding rough and has been scince we installed it in 2007, here are the details: when washing it makes a strange vibrational like sound (i mean i know hotpoints from this time were loud but this is beyond it) you can only hear it when washing or rinsing, in never does it when distributing or spinning and im not sure what it is anymore, please help, thanks servisslimline

It could well be the timer or the door lock. A friend of ours had a Hotpoint from the 90s that was so sound, but it was only the timer.

it isn't cos you can only hear it when the drum turns during the wash or rinse

our hotpoint door lock used buzz loudly,it was only a 800 spin and the sides used to make one hell of a noise,Sounded like Rolf Harris on acid with his wobbly board thingy LOL
