Hello everyone, I have been lurking around this site for a while now. I am 11 years old and have been interested in washing machines for as long as I can remember. Hope you do not mind me posting here.
Apart from several working toy washing machines I have a Candy aquamatic 3 washer, a White Knight sensordry dryer and a 1965 Creda Debonair spinner.

Any other young washer fans out there?

Welcome to AW forum.

I'm like you, very intrested in washingmachines, and I've also been intrested as long as I remember. My mum, aunt and granmother have told me that when I was around 8 months old, I was sitting in the front of my aunts Candy D4.104X washer, and followed the programme from start to the end.

Now, I'm 20 years, and have now taken the certificate for repairing electric appliances, and I now work for Asko here in Norway. I've also worked at Miele, and in a small workshop for Gorenje, Electrolux, Zanussi and Asko before.

My favourite brand is Asko, and I have too many machines
I have a Candy Aquamatic 3 too, like yours, but with brown fascia and chrome door. I like your mini dryer. I'm looking for one too, but compactmodels is very rare here.

hay welcome dude! yes i am a young fan too my name is Tom and i am 13. i also hae one of them white knight dryers too! i also have a fulsize beko wme7427s (not plmmbed in sadly) my daly driver is a hotpoint aqualtis from 2006 i really want one of em compact candy's i have 4 dryers ive always had s soft spot for them candy's

Hi Chris... nice to see your toy washers

I'm not that young anymore... but I can assure you that I've always had a thing for washing machines ever since I had enough strengh in my optical nerves to open my eyes LOL

My first experience with them dates back to when I was knee-high to a grasshopper... I would not leave the washer alone until one day I managed to flood the place by opening the door during the rinse cycle! The old victim machine did not have an electronic lock but a plastic lock on the handle which needed to be pushed down in order to operate the handle itself... but I guess I spent enough time to figure a way to open it.

But that was only the start... I tortured the poor thing as I was growing up... now... I feel that washing machines should be a protected species

Same here found this website at 16. Finnaly joined this year and, I have loved washers from the time I was 1 years old. Watching mom do the wash in the Whirlpool dd washer and dryer. And I loved grandma's Kenmore beltdrive. a 1977? 78 79 or 1980. This was a 70 series washer with 5 water levels 5 or 6 water temps. And 5 wash cycles. Oh I wish that washer lived.

1 of the toys

Thanks a lot for the welcomes. I said I would upload some more pictures of my my toys.1st is met-toy hoover washing machine. I have 2 of these-this is my good one and my other one is in a bad state. I also one box for it and the handle to turn the paddle in the drum.

I will create a new thread on my other one at a later date.

This is a superb example of the real thing. in the spinner there is my toy duck-Storkey. Again it is complete with both lids and box.

p.s-there is a candy aqua 3 on ebay now with a cream fascia and door in yorkshire. There is just some rust around the dispenser. £50.oo

This was a very nice toy until it broke. It was not vintage one so I was not sad to see it go but I had a matching fridge and oven to go with it.

This is my Nans Hotpoint WT960. It was made in 2007 when I broke her hoover ecologic(I have the fascia - it dosent work though), takes a 7 kg load and a 1600rpm motor like our current WMA63.
