After messing around with this since November of last year (thread 49390), I finally picked up a Lady Kenmore Gas Dryer which I believe is model year 1960.
The unit belongs to the seller's father and was operational until a few years ago when the heat went out. Rather than scrap it, the seller put it on Craig's list hoping it would be rescued. Unfortunately, he didn't answer emails because of heavy spam and the phone number was hidden in a drop down menu I only just discovered, which is why this took six months to do.
The unit is in good cosmetic condition, however, the drum as recently seized and the three toggle switches on the left are all very "soft". The pink cancel button won't stay in the neutral position at all. (the command the toggle bar is hiding is "OFF").
As many of you know, this came with a bag rather than a conventional lint screen. Lucky for me there's one left in the bag compartment. Also notice the door contains a reservoir to contain fabric freshener. Anybody remember the scent? We had a similar gizmo on my Mom's 1968 Kenmore Dryer, but it was a small vial in the screen compartment. She disliked the odor and it was never replaced but can't remember the smell. I recall a outdoor-pine scent.

Plans: Frankly this was a rescue operation only, I have too many washer and automotive projects ahead of this one and had to sneak her into the garage as it is. That being said, I guess I'm now in the market for a matching washer...
