Possibly the Water Valve

Hello There

Very nice Kelvinator Orbital. I have 2 of these.

I'm assuming you have attached the hot and cold inlet hoses to the taps? If so, i would be looking to see if water is leaking from the water valve at the back of the machine.

If the machine hasn't been used for a while, the water valve could be faulty.

You need to be very careful.....we all know how water and electricity don't mix.

Cheers

Well, yes, you would first need to pull the machine out where you can get to the back of it, and try to pin-point the area the sparks are coming from.

Thats a nice looking machine and Kelvy's do a great job of washing, so I know you would want to get it up and running without any mechanical/electrical problems.

boot

After you get the electrical problem fixed, pull the agitator and check the rubber boot underneath, that is the usual trouble spot, otherwise they are pretty trouble proof...also under the agitator there is a grease fitting on most of these, use an automotive grease gun on this.
