That quick cup looks very intriguing. My mom might like that, she drinks gallons of tea etc per day and her electric kettle is always on it seems. Dunno if it's available here, I'll hafta check.

Tefal Quick Cup
I would LOVE one of those Quick Cups. They have nothing similar in the US, except for standard electric kettles. I drink about 5-6 cups of hot tea a day and would definately get some use out of it! In fact, I might drink more tea if I had one of those.
I found one on eBay and asked about shipping from the UK to here.

That is one "sharp" microwave oven, no wait it's a Panasonic!
So what's the deal with this Quick-Cup kettle. How so fast?
Did they say it chills water as well?
I wonder if the wattage draw needed for that kind of speed can be handled on 110v.
That IKEA clock in the background is something like $2, but they are very cool!)
