Hi all!!

I am the proud owner of a Miele w423 and it's matching dryer a Miele t366!!
They are both in great condition. They were my grand mothers, and she took good care of them.
I just have a few question!!

What does the granulated spin button do and what dos eneconmy button do??
Can I spin garments separately?
Does any one have a manual?
And when pricing the door button the door does not move you have to pull hard at it???

Any help would be great!!

It not spinning !!

I put it on a cycle and it did not spin what is wrong!!

I think I know!

Does it need brushes!! What type??

And what about the door?

My mother had an older version of the W423, without those buttons. Hers only had a round door release button. Hers always did a graduated spin, four short spinds with tumbling in between before it went into final spin.

I don't know what the economy button did. IIRC one of the things was four rinses instead of five. Not sure though.

If you use the door button and you hear a click but it doesn't really open, it could be that the door is lowered. If it doesn't click, the electric door release might be broken or does not get power.

If it doesn't spin, it might indeed be the brushes of the spin motor. It still can wash because there are separate wash and spin motors.

Great i will check them!

I also noticed that the drain pump seemed to leak a tiny bit when washing, i had just cleaned it out. There was only a seal on the washing machine but not the plug

It was the brushes after all, they were both as short as ever!!

Have ordered them online and will be on there way I will keep you posted!!
