Sadly, no. The issue is that the solenoid rod needed is the old pre-1956 transmission redesign type. As far as I know, the later dexter part will work on all models '56 and newer, but mine is a '54. I will, however, be changing the door boot this spring. I need someone who has a 1952-55 model to take some measurements so I can have a machinist make another.

Good news! Credits to John(Gyromatic) I got my solenoid today! When the latest snow clears I will bring the Duomatic back from the shed into the garage and start work.
