Well, usually I fill the water up to 5 dips, but decided to make 8 cups just to see the water remaining at that 5 while the wanted 8 was at an espresso-sized quantity so I decided it was time to ditch my old machine…

And figured I could do without a timer and automatic brewing as well as a clock I always needed to set and reset though that was convenient to view…

The buttons could sometimes be accidentally stated or one time wouldn’t push in to turn on or the plug had to be pulled to turn off…

So I got a cheap toastmaster unit usually seen in motels with a lighted and sturdy toggle on and off switch on the side as well as the water spout attached to the lid and saved my reusable filter from the old appliance…
