Here is a little something I picked up at work a Philips "crock-a-dial" slow cooker sometimes called a crockpot, just the thing for nice soups and casseroles during the cold winter months ahead.

While I am at it

Here is my L.G microwave oven,39 litre capacity, 1100 watts of cooking power, good unit, only problem just a bit too large for the bench.

I love crockpots! I hate the one I have, it's digital and if the power goes off, it won't come back on, and you can't manually set it to the keep warm setting. But I shouldn't complain, it was free.

no knob

yeah I know what you mean the only fault with this one is the actual knob for selecting high or low cooking is missing but it is no problem really, i will just use a flat knife between the appendage to turn it.
Cheers.
Steve.

Woo-hoo to former British colonies and Mother England.

I'm not sure what impresses me most; the English language and culture flung so far and wide or that GE brand on the other side of the world!

Nice toys!

"I will just use a flat knife between the appendage to turn it" sounds painful and dangerous. One might consider a knob!

er, nine containers of what looks like milk? Are we realted to Octo-mom, or just a good old-fashioned Taurus that lives for dairy products? *LOL*

milk

no just a bulk buyer who dislikes going to the shops every day or so just for milk and bread and an Aries who likes dairy products and lots of cups of tea and coffee.
