1955 Kenmore portable dishwasher. Cabinet repainted, timer replaced. New hoses with new original looking crimp hose clamps. Light up dashboard controls. Original racks are clean with no rust along with original soap cup and utensil basket. Rust around the screw on the lid hold up arm. Asking...

that's the one, thanks Classic. I even remember the stainless steel detergent cup. I think her house was all Sears. The machine still worked until Grandma died in 68, who knows what happened to it then.

Seriously, love that Phlco and your china cabinet.

I love yellows, as well..but because your kitchen has yellow pine, that yellow is going to make them look more orange. If that's ok with you, go for the yellow...whatever shade it is(I can't tell by the photo). Good luck!

what a difference a foot makes...

The leaf repair was finished today and returned to me.  It looks so much bigger with the leaf!  All I can think of is Jaws, "I'm going to need a bigger cloth."

Can we see the tables without the tablecloths-I want to see the wood the tables are made of.I like seeing wood!

..Restore A Finish and Feed N Wax - great products. I think someone here on aw.org introduced it to me/us when they refinished their mid-century stereo system. Really superb stuff.

I managed to clean up the worst of the blemishes...  It's not perfect, but since you guys asked, here it is without a cloth.  I had to keep the placemats, I tend to put things on the table and didn't want them to be placed directly on the wood.

Beautiful wood on your table-looks really nice with the placemats.I can understand using placemats and tablecloths to protect the wood.
