this really is a beauty. I'm so happy with it. I forgot how much I hate modern refrigerators. And a step Pedal. Everything fridge should have a step pedal.

When you see...

How much better it keeps food...especially vegetables, you will really be happy, not to mention your power bill will probably go down now that you are not having to run fans, mullion heaters, defrost heaters and timers!!!!

Yep, don't understand why nobody has revived the foot pedal. We never found the revolving shelves useful, but step-to-open we used constantly.

It feels good to have an appliance I love in my kitchen, it has been awhile. I think the color is just gorgeous. And you are right about the spin racks, Supersuds, don't spin them! But when I have my hands full I want to thank God for that step pedal.

Matt I have the 1957 version of your fridge in Petal Pink

and I love my foot pedal too but I am surprised you do not use the revolving shelves I use mine all the time and they come in real handy so I am not stooping or crouching to get to the back of the shelves.
