Found this little Mixer on Ebay, I find it so cute so I want to share it with the gang.
I always thought vintage American appliances were so much more classy and stylish than ours, but this one is different.

It was fairly filthy when I got it, had to take the motor out and give it a bath and scrub it with an old toothbrush to make it nice and useable.

It is only 85 Watts, it does not run very fast but it is amazingly strong.
Originally they came with doughhooks, but they were missing on this one.

I will also post some other pics of old "Yankee stuff" which belonged to my beloved grandmother.

Oma`s old Kenmore toaster setup with the voltage transformer

Still working but it is not save to use anymore (apart from all the asbestos) the ungrounded toaster gives you a tingle from power leaking.

Hammed Up

What a stylish mixer and the speed control on the side of the handle seems more intuitive to use.  The beaters are shaped like early Hamilton Beach mixers in the US.  I have an Australian Mixmaster which I haven't been able to use because I cannot locate a transformer.

Nice hand mixer, the first time I've seen one. I don't think Bosch ever sold small appliances over here, at least in Canada, other than the Bosch Universal kitchen machine. And even they have always been rare as hens teeth, very pricey, and usually only available thru specialty outlets or now on the internet. Braun on the other hand have been selling their small appliances for decades

Kelly, the Bosch`s beaters have a big disadvantage when compared with my American Sunbeam Junior`s on the right . They never reach the bottom of the bowl compleatly. Not the greatest design, but the mixer is cute.

I heard about Braun but did you guys also have the Krups 3 Mix on the market ? It was the most popular hand mixer overhere. Not as stylish as the Bosch but a real workhorse.
