Our neighbors across the back are moving away and so half in jest I asked him if he was selling his bike. He said sure, the price was right (meaning a good deal) and so I'm now the owner of this beautiful 1983 GoldWing Aspencade as of this morning. Got my 10 day permit up there on the windshield till I can go in and get a plate next week. Love it.. I gave my 79 Goldwing away last year to our good neighbors back in Calgary for him to fix up, he'd bugged me for it for a few years but I always hesitated fearing he'd get it all fixed up and I'd feel terrible seeing it on the road again because it held lots of memories..One being that I was actually at Mt.St Helens on it the morning it blew up back on May 18, 1980, my first road trip since I had only bought it the fall before.

Congrats Pete! Have fun with that, but watch out for the crazy ones that "own" the road!

Love it,, spent the afternoon and evening putzing around getting my sea legs back. I do need to go out and buy a new helmet, a bigger one that fits my fat head.
Lawrence I do in fact have leather pants, jacket and vest but alas they seem to have shrunk and I couldn't get the pants past my knees, no comments. They are beeeutiful pants to.. I had them custom made to a pair of 501's back in the early 80's when I probably tipped the scales at less than 170, now I'm more like 195 to 200 but trying to drop some.
