On the other hand, the Hydrowave has not been getting stellar reviews and the tranny-driven short-stroke GE's have apparantly been improving in reliability. Unless you really want the Hydrowave (and I'm a sucker for getting something unique; witness my purchase of the much-hated Frigidaire TL'er), I'd consider staying with your current machine. My sister has had a near BOL GE for several years and it's given her no trouble.
