Yesterday my new washing machine has finally been delivered!
It is a Panasonic NA-168VG3 with a capacity of 8 kg, 1600 rpm spin and a "honey comb drum".
I´m very pleased with it so far, it does wash very well, it is quiet and quick and it uses little energy to wash huge loads of laundry. It washes 8 kg of towels in a little less than 90 minutes at 60° C without using the speed-option. That´s pretty impressive, compared to my AEG that washes 5 kg of towels in more than 2 hours at the same temperature. Apart from that, the washing is very sleek after the spin at 1600 rpm which may be caused due to the special drum and the specially designed final spin (takes 20 min, loosens the washing a few times)
The only thing I have to complain about are the out of balances when I do smaller loads but I guess this is normal for a machine that is designed to wash big loads.

The drum

Sorry for the bad quality, I had to use my mobile phone to take the photos.

Forgot to say that the HydroActive+ system (5 spray nozzles) is pretty useful to saturate the load in little time - but it is also nice to watch!

Congratulations on your new washer

Since panasonic launched their washing machines last year, I was intrigued by them, fun to watch the powerstream to mix the detergent at the beginning of the wash, reminds me of my hotpoint aquarius wma58 which does powerstreams.

Does this machine do different wash motions? 5 jet sprays, impressive. I have one on my LG and quite like it, more so than jet systems as it's more like a shower.

Looks quite sleek, with the orange/yellow lights etc, wouldn't mind getting one if they sold them in graphite lol

Happy washing :)

Thanks for the congratulations on my new machine but unfortunately I´m not going to keep it! I was very pleased with the washing and the rinsing results and its quickness but the out of balance control is veeery fussy and the shock absorbers are crap - even the worn shock absorbers of my 6-year-old AEG washing machine are far better! This machine is far too expensive to have trouble with it and so I decided to get my cash back and I might go for a new Miele now.
