I have that exact vacuum. It was my grandmother's and have saved it more for the sentimental value than anything else. Was this an ebay find? Great score.
By the way, Sears carries a bag that is designed for one of their models, but fits this one perfectly.
Any chance I can get a copy of the instruction book?

We had this model, slight ornamental differences. But that was 1957. Congrats on the NIB.
Hans, that it awesome, what a great find! And a great self-present! Maybe Santa knew you would find it... But... will you keep it new and displayed, or will you be using it... or perhaps in between, using on special occasions!
All I can say is WOW! It's amazing that there are still treasures like this still out there - great score, Hans! I think it's the perfect gift for any collector. I have to admit that I have rarely seen Westinghouse vacuums so this is a rare one to be sure. Congratulations and Merry Christmas!!

Not trying to take the shine off that new 1956 vacuum. That was the colorized version of the Westinghouse promotion on Lucy's Lost Episodes DVD. It was a bunch of TV appearances and has Desi Arnaz giving a Westinghouse salesman a tour of Desilu Studios.

Nice find Hans... I had a Westinghouse moment today , the twingle sent me into Value Village and found yet another Westinghouse Spoutless coffee perk, not NIB but in excellent condition. Made better being it was seniors day too.
