So my powerclean based UltraWash seems to have died tonight. It was running a cycle, and was in the main wash. I heard it stop for the drain but then never heard it draining. The timer motor is still advancing and the fill valve will work, but it will not circulate or drain at any point in the cycle. Did the motor go bad?

Sounds like something is stuck. If you hear a hum, something is stuck in the module as said above. There’s a perfect video of this happening on YouTube with a piece of glass.

Is there any sound at all when you turn the machine on other than it filling up? But sounds like it’s full of water. We need further information so we can assist. Usually when a motor is dying, there will be signs like strange sounds and other things before it dies to suggest that the motor is going. Possibly when the pump went into reverse for drain, something got stuck in the module preventing the pump and motor from turning. So let us know and if none of that is the case we’ll discuss the next steps in determining what’s wrong with it. This is not a dishwasher you want to throw out as I’m aware!!
