Hotpoint 9514
This is indeed one of our British machines from the late 1980s - part of the very popular and now deemed "classic" Hotpoint 95 series. I had a slightly earlier model growing up...it's the BOL machine with an irritating lack of half load button and fabric conditioner dispenser. The two options are for Rinse Hold (stops on the final rinse on synthetics [permanent press] cycles before spinning to minimise creasing if clothes cannot be removed promptly) and no heat Economy Wash (turns off heating element, using just water at incoming temperature).
Pretty noisy machines but usually very robust and very repairable.
