A wonderful and heart-felt thank you to our hosts who moved mountains to make for a great event. Speical thanks to all my/our new friends for all the dish and dirt and jokes and laughs. The meals were delicious, the company great and the comraderie amazing.

Oh did I mention that I picked up a vintage coffee-maker and washer? Oh yes GF, fun laughs and a *NEW* (to me) vintage machine. [Details to follow].

I had fun introducing myself only as *Steve*. (Got a few *ho- hums*) LATER I said TOGGLE...and some of the guests' eyes almost fell out. TE HE HE HE.

I seriously can't thank all enough for the amazing life-long memories that were made.

Oh and Evan, thanks again for the vacuum parts. Your demo and knowledge of vas is legendary.
 
Evan, I'm particularly glad you had such a great time. I knew how nervous you were. And you are experiencing what eeach and every one of us experirences: post-wash-in/convention blues. The real world sucks.

Back to work on a gloomy Monday morning. Whoever said the real world sucks isn't kidding. I have to give the biggest and best kudos to our fabulous hosts, Rich and Chuck, their hospitality was beyond words. As for everyone else, I could not have been with a more wonderful group of people, never laughed so hard in my life, and yes Evan, it seemed to be over in seconds. Now I have the post wash-in blues. Thank you all for a wonderful time, it was a pleasure to meet all of you, and here's to new friendships. Evan, thank you for sharing your collection of vacuums. They rock! And Larry, why the hell did you go south on 95 to get to Quincy? I thought you'd be lost forever! LOL to all,

WOW !!!!!!!!!!

For the past 24 hours (since the last person left) I have been trying to think of a way to sum up my thoughts all the while keeping them to a less than novel sized post. "WOW" is what I came up with!!!

What impressed me most was that I was sitting in a room of very knowledgable vintage appliance collectors that I had not met YET I felt like I was sitting with a bunch of old friends! This has left me with a warm glow that still has me on a cloud! The comraderie was amazing!! I can't tell you the last time I have laughed so hard. It's been a LONG time :-) I felt like a giddy, giggly school kid, again, and I can't tell you how long it's been since I have felt like that :-) The food was nothing less that amazing!! I am still pigging out on the canolies, cookies, incredible cheesecake as well as all the other homemade fabulous homemade dishes. Steve (Toggle), thank you so much for cleaning my stove top after Sunday breakfast. Unfortunatly I CAN see myself in it now :-) I'm gonna have to order you a skimpy little maids costume for the next time you're here "wink".

I think a special thanks should go to Evan for going through the work of filling up his car with incredible examples from his impressive vac collection and sharing his vast knowledge with all of us and letting us try them out........I do wish, though, you all had demonstrated the vacs on the dirty parts of our floor :-)))) OH well!

Everyones generosity, knowledge and fun nature made a weekend seem like just a short moment. Do I have the post wash-in blues? No! I feel like I have made some good friends whom I truly hope to be seeing or speaking to on a more regular basis.

Ok. I have now thought of two words to sum it up....WOW and THANKS!!!!!!! Now let me go and get back on my cloud :-)

2- Some additonal sets have gone out as well. No real rhyme or reason except I'm not as organized as I should be.....

INSTRUCTIONS- (read this)
1- To request a set of pics shoot me an email privately
2- To request missing sets, ditto
3- Videos will be posted to put-file. I will post a linkie as soon as they are successfully uploaded and available.

PLEASE so no one's feelings get hurt lets not boast if we received pics or bitch if we did not. Again no rhyme or reason except my brain cells are degenerating.

ALL can get what they want, just ask pretty and private!

Sorry guys, I had a crisis, this past week, everything is ok now but that is why y'll didn't see me. But you were in my thoughts. I hope you had a great time. It sure seems like it!!!

The REALLY good pics have been deleted at the victims' request.

So no point in asking.

This includes some blackmail-able items as:

Sucking the canolli filling out of the pastry decorating bag.
Dancing with dashers as cod-pieces.
All initiation rituals.
Questionable behaviors with farm animals.
Lip-synching to the divas.
All forms of line dancing.
Body-painting and ritual scarring.
All flunkees of butch lessons (taught by a les...nevermind)

And for public record the minor saw NONE of this.
(cause it didn't happen except one sentence. YOU figure it out). Attendees are prohibited from divulging. OR ELSE
